General provisions
  1. The Parties shall, in addition to these terms and conditions, be bound by other relevant legislation on road transport.
  2. Conflicts arising from the application or interpretation of these terms and conditions will be settled by the Maputo City Judicial Court when they occur throughout the south zone and by the Beira City Judicial Court when they occur in the center and north of the country.
  3. The parties agree that the costs inherent in the coercive recovery of debt arising from the default of these terms and conditions will be charged to the default party.
  4. The carrier reserves the prerogative to update these Terms and Conditions for legal, operational, tariff, technological or security adequacy and must make available the current version on its official channels. The applicable version shall, as a rule, be that in force on the date of purchase of the ticket or hiring of the service.
  5. The passenger, consignor and consignee shall authorise the processing of personal data strictly necessary for the issue of tickets, transportation, security, billing, service, complaints, compliance with legal obligations, fraud prevention and communication with competent authorities in accordance with applicable law.
  6. These Terms and Conditions, as well as their content, structure, wording, marks, distinctive signs, graphic elements and other associated materials, are the property of the carrier, and its copy, reproduction, distribution, publication or use, in whole or in part, by third parties, without prior and express permission of the carrier.
  • The carrier sells tickets by submitting a valid identification document.
  • The sale of tickets to illegal immigrants is expressly prohibited.
  • The passenger shall be entitled to reimbursement of the full amount of the ticket in the event of cancellation of the journey by the carrier.
  • The check-in shall be carried out no later than 30 minutes before the time indicated for the departure of the bus.
  • The vacant seats shall be given to the persons on the waiting list 10 minutes before the scheduled time for the departure of the bus.
  • Boarding and disembarking shall take place only at terminals, agencies, authorised stops or places previously approved by the carrier, and embarkation shall be prohibited in informal, unsafe, prohibited or compromising road traffic.
  • Passengers to be taken along the route shall be in the place agreed at least 10 minutes in advance. The carrier is not liable for loss of travel resulting from the absence, delay, incorrect indication of location or residence of the passenger in a location other than that agreed.
  • If for some weighty reason the ticket carrier has not boarded and therefore the ticket has not been used, it can be used for a new trip to be booked within the next 30 days, on payment of an additional fee corresponding to 50% of the ticket price.
  • In cases of death, hospitalization of the passenger or serious illness duly confirmed, the full amount paid for the ticket may be refunded, with the granting of reimbursement subject to prior analysis and validation by the company upon submission of the appropriate documentation.
  • The carrier shall make reasonable efforts to inform passengers in the event of a fact significantly altering the time, itinerary or foreseeable duration of the journey.
  • In the event of a technical failure preventing the normal movement of the bus by forcing its immediate immobilization, the carrier shall make reasonable efforts to restore the service and may send a technical team to the place to repair or take other appropriate measures to ensure the continuity of the journey of the passengers.
  • Passengers shall comply with the instructions of the crew and refrain from behaviour that disturbs the order or safety during the occurrence of the bus failure.
  • The carrier may use video surveillance systems and image capture on its premises and on board its vehicles for safety purposes, fraud prevention.
  • The carrier may carry out occasional image and video recordings on its premises and on board its vehicles, intended exclusively for institutional, promotional or corporate communication purposes, without prejudice to the passenger’s right of opposition, which shall be respected whenever the image or video allows its identification.
  • The boarding of a passenger who is in a state of drunkenness, under the apparent effect of psychotropic substances, with aggressive, violent, disturbing, unhealthy or posing a risk to health, safety, order, crew, other passengers or operation shall be prohibited.
  • It is expressly prohibited to smoke, consume alcoholic beverages, transport or consume illicit substances, carry weapons or dangerous objects inside buses or in the areas controlled by the carrier, without prejudice to the communication to the competent authorities where applicable.
  • The passenger must keep with him his valuables, documents, money, mobile phone, essential medicines and other goods of immediate use, and must not dispatch them as luggage.
  • The passenger is solely responsible for obtaining, possession and validity of the documents, authorizations, declarations and other requirements legally required for the completion of the journey and for the transport of the goods that I am able to follow, as well as for the completion of the migratory, customs, sanitary and other requirements of the competent authorities, not responding to the carrier for retentions, seizures, refusals of entry, fines, delays or other damage resulting therefrom.
  • All passengers shall have the right to carry a luggage free of charge up to a maximum of 30 kg for the volumetric or actual weight measured in the act of dispatch.
  • Passengers who purchase tickets together for the same route, with a payment receipt indicating their total number, may carry luggage weighing more than 20 kg and less than 40 kg.
  • The passenger shall, in the act of dispatch, declare the content, quantity, weight and commercial or estimated value of the baggage volume.
  • Excess baggage is permitted on board in the event of space availability and upon payment of the respective fee in the affixed table at terminals.
  • Objects of commercial value exceeding 20,000.00 MT, fragile, perishable, electronic items, documents, money, jewelry and special medicines should not be dispatched as common baggage.
  • Baggage transport in the carrier's bus corridor is expressly prohibited.
  • The transport of dangerous cargo is strictly prohibited.
  • The carrier shall deliver the abandoned baggage to the authorities responsible for the sale in public auction if the baggage is not claimed within 90 days.
  1. Children up to 5 (five) years old may be transported free of charge, provided they travel on an adult's lap, and only 1 (one) child is allowed for each accompanying adult.
  2. The transport of unaccompanied children under 12 years of age is prohibited.
  3. Minor passengers aged between 12 and 18 shall bear a travel permit signed by their parents or guardians.
  4. For reasons of operational safety, protection of the health of pregnant and unborn passengers, and considering the limitations of medical care during the journey, the transport of pregnant passengers is subject to the following conditions:
    1. Until the 28th week of gestation, the passenger may embark without a medical certificate, and a statement on gestational age may be requested;
    2. From the 28th week until the 34th week of pregnancy, boarding will depend on the presentation of a medical certificate, confirming the gestational age, the probable date of delivery, the absence of relevant complications and the passenger's ability to complete the journey;
    3. Above 34 weeks of gestation, the carrier reserves the right not to authorize boarding in order to safeguard the safety of the passenger and the unborn child.
  5. Older people, pregnant women, disabled persons, persons with conditioned mobility or special needs will be accommodated in the places closest to the entrance and should be assisted with priority by crew members on the bus.
  6. Passengers with conditioned physical health and those who are transported with medical devices will only be transported if they carry a medical certificate confirming that they are in health condition to be transported without harm to their health and should contact the carrier at least 7 days in advance to inform themselves about the availability of space and their special needs.
  1. The carrier shall apply, regardless of the taxable weight and commercial value of the cargo, the minimum and constant weight tariffs of the tables affixed to the terminals' style places.
  2. The carrier shall apply, in addition to the criteria set out in the previous paragraph, a 3% transport tariff on orders with a commercial value exceeding 10000 MT.
  3. The consignor shall declare the order by delivering to the carrier a copy of the purchase invoice of the goods to be carried, specifying, in the cargo ticket, the actual identification of the goods contained in the volumes, the quantity, weight and commercial or estimated value of the volumes to be carried, their state of conservation and permit the conference, otherwise the carrier will be excluded from any civil liability.
  4. The consignor shall provide the necessary documentation where the nature of the order or the route so requires, not responding to the carrier for retentions, seizures, fines, delays, returns or other damage resulting from the lack, insufficiency or irregularity of the required documents.
  5. The carrier reserves the right to refuse the transport of goods when, in the conference, it finds an irregularity in the item, dishonesty or omission in the provision of information related to the good to be carried.
  6. The transport of psychotropic substances is expressly prohibited.
  7. The time limit for delivery of the order to the consignee is 5 working days, but the order may be delivered 2 days after being dispatched to the carrier's shipping terminal.
  8. The addressee shall withdraw the order upon presentation of the copy of the respective cargo ticket and identity card.
  9. The consignee shall check the integrity of the goods in the receipt of the order and in the presence of the carrier’s official.
